Apple has just officially announced that it will release its latest operating system - iOS 16, on September 12 after first introducing it at WWDC 2022 back in June.

With iOS 16, users can edit and recall sent messages (with some limitations), use the new iCloud Shared Photo Library to share photos with family, and use Live Text to retrieve text messages. versions from videos as well as photos.

The new operating system is released by Apple before Apple's latest iPhone models reach users. According to a recent announcement , the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max will be available for pre-order on September 9, before hitting store shelves on September 16.

The release of iOS 16 will help users no longer have to rely on the iOS 16 beta version to install on compatible iPhone models like today. It is known that iOS 16 will support iPhone 8 and later models.
